Rest assured, Spirit of Faith Adoptions is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services as a non-profit adoption agency. Spirit of Faith Adoptions carefully screens all adoptive parents. Our staff completes a thorough and detailed background check of every adoptive parent, to include any criminal history of themselves or with child protective services. Spirit of Faith Adoptions also checks to make sure that adoptive families have stable jobs and can provide for their child’s needs. Spirit of Faith Adoptions requires parents to attend pre-service adoption parent training classes.  Our agency obtains references from their employers, pastor, friends, and acquaintances. Our staff will visit the adoptive parent’s home and complete an in-depth interview of each person in the household, including children. Adoptive parents go through all of these steps in the hopes that they will be blessed with the opportunity to become parents through adoption.
