What to Expect for the Home Study Visits
The home study consists of two or three face to face meetings between the adoption assessor and your family. At least one meeting must occur at your residence. A walk-through tour of your home is required and the Home Safety Audit will be conducted at that time. An individual interview with each parent is required as well as a family meeting. In addition, a brief individual interview must occur with every (temporary or permanent) household member over the age of 4 years old. No white glove test will occur at your house or at ours! :)
Once you have submitted all of your home study paperwork, including your training certificates, we will contact you to schedule your first home visit. If you need additional assistance, please contact Ellie.
