Adam and Megan

We are so excited and feel honored at the possibility of getting to know you. We would love to know you and your story. We would love to hear stories about your life so we can pass them on to our child .

Adam has always wanted to adopt kids from an early age since he was a teenager. We even talked about adoption before we had our children. Once we had our boys, we still felt God telling us that our family was not complete. Over the last year, we started to pray if this was the right decision for our family and God keeps leading us to this decision.

Hi, I’m Adam:

I start my mourning with my quiet time. I need God's Word to get me on track because the days that I skip, I get off track. I serve as a deacon in our church and I love to be able to serve families in our church who are in need. We also serve as a family at church, Megan and I leads a kids ministry in our church during the week. We love the kids who attend and we love getting to teach them about Jesus. We also teach vacation Bible school together. We love going on family adventures to new places such as the science center, new play grounds and water parks. i love to spend time outside, we have a large back yard our boys love to play in while we relax. Monthly date nights with my wife are one of my favorites, just for us to be able to refresh and reset. 

Favorite TV show: Big Bang Theory or Marvel Superheroes

Favorite movie character: Batman

Favorite vacation spot: Nashville, because I loved going to listen to the music

Favorite animal: turtle

What I love about my Wife:

Hi, I'm Megan: 

I enjoy getting up early and reading my bible and praying before I do anything else because it sets the tone for my day. Also, I love talking about Theology-things of God conversations with people. In the morning I enjoy listening to a good podcast while I am on my elliptical, exercising is important and by listening to something makes the time enjoyable. Reading books is a great way to relax and wind down. I love building deep relationships by having play dates with other moms during the week because it creates connection and community for me and my boys. Crafting is fun and I enjoy scrap booking and making cards. I enjoy going on adventures with my family whether it be the zoo or a museum. I enjoy watching the Chicago shows, exploring big cities and hiking and enjoying nature.

Favorite Color: sky blue

Food: hard question because I love so many kinds- a good hamburger, chicken alfredo, or a big salad

Favorite animal: monkey- they are so fun to watch at the zoo.

Favorite holiday: Thanksgiving-we love cooking and hosting family and friends.

We have two biological children. August is 7 years old. He loves playing outside, looking for bugs. He enjoys building and creating with Lego! He is a funny guy who tries to make you laugh by telling you jokes. He will say that he loves God and is not shy to  ask questions about Him. He loves to please us and  is very sensitive when he thinks he does not. We have to remind him daily to just keep trying his best and that's all we want. Silas is our 3 year old. He loves his brother so much and wants to do whatever brother is doing.  When his brother is at school, he enjoys playing with play doh, doing puzzles, or going on  walks with mom. Silas is our cuddle bug. He loves to sit on our lap and cuddle. He is very affectionate and wants multiple hugs and kisses a day. He is also very stubborn. When he does not want to do something, it is very hard to convince me to do so. 

The way we live is all centered on our faith in the Lord. We truly believe that we are here to bring glory to His name. We make church a normal thing we do in this family. We try to make Christ the center. As a couple, we found that if our relationship with Christ is good, we are better as a couple. We read  the Bible at dinner as our way of teaching our kids about the Lord.
