Jordon and Rhi
Thank you for putting the child first and that we understand how selfless of an act the mom (and dad) are doing by placing the child for adoption instead of the alternative. We pray that we will be able to get to know one another and establish a respectful, trusting relationship with you. We want to know you so we can tell our child about you. Whether that be through meetups, communications, etc. and whatever boundaries we establish together, all of us are a team. We are nervous, as we‘re sure you are - nervous that you will feel safe enough with us to make the decision to place your child in our care and to be loved forever. But with that nervousness comes the excitement of forming a beautiful relationship with one another.
We feel like God has led us to this decision over several years of prayerfully considering adoption; it is not a decision we take lightly. We feel like we are able to provide a loving, stable home and the addition of a child through adoption would make our home feel complete. We have such peace about the decision to adopt and feel like the Holy Spirit has been guiding us through this entire decision and process.
Meet Rhi
Meet My Wife:
Rhi has the most consistent love for me and our children and she is dedicated to growing her faith daily. She loves being a nurse even though it can be tough and taxing at times. When she has tasks to do she makes a list and always gets them done, she is extremely organized and highly motivated to reach her goals. I think she is the most beautiful girl ever! My Wife always finds a positive in a negative situation. She is extremely selfless and always puts others above herself and is very humble.
Hi, I’m: Rhiannon(Rhi):
At night when Breckon and Jordon are already in bed, I love taking 30-45 minutes to myself to read a good book. I love making to-do lists because it keeps me organized and I feel accomplished when I check items off the list! When I’m stressed, going to the gym for an hour helps alleviate that stress and clears my mind. It always boosts my mood and makes me feel better. I went into nursing because I feel like I am very compassionate and want to put others needs above my own. Playing the piano is relaxing to me. I love the challenge of learning new music and use the music to express my emotions.

He is the best daddy to our kids. He is always the one making them smile! He is the fun uncle with our nieces and nephew and they love to be around him and his laugh is contagious and infectious, when he laughs, everyone else around him laughs! He is protective over his family and makes us feel safe. He has a passion for fitness and hunting. He is always willing to always help others. He is dedicated to growing more in his faith and spending more time in God’s word. He is super handsome, extremely hardworking and will always make sure to provide for our family. Jordan always goes along with my crazy ideas, like getting chickens, pigs, remodeling because he knows it’ll make me happy.
Hi, I’m Jordon:
I really look forward to my morning cup of coffee when Rhi and Breckon are both still sleeping. It’s very peaceful and relaxing and gives me time to think and reflect. I love working out because it helps keep my mind clear and sharp and spending time in God’s word helps me stay consistent in my faith. I enjoy hunting because being in nature brings a sense of stillness and peace. I enjoy YouTubing fix-it videos because when I can fix something on my own it teaches me a new skill and gives me self-satisfaction.

Our Family:
We have one daughter, Emerson, who is in Heaven with Jesus. She was very medically fragile and that led to her passing, but is still the light of our lives. She has made us better people all around. She has strengthened our marriage, our faith, and relationship as a family. She will always be a part of our family and we tell Breckon about her everyday so he knows how special she was to us. We also have one son, Breckon, who was born in February 2024. He has brought our family so much joy and is so active. He loves being around children and would love to have a sibling(s)! We also have two nieces and a nephew and they keep us on our toes! They each have such a unique personality and always keep us laughing. Being Aunt Rhi and Uncle Jordon is such a joy to us and we love to spend time with them whenever we can!
Our faith is the foundation of our home. Without it, we would be lost. Our faith makes us
strive to be better spouses, parents, and just better people in general.
A Little About Us
We love spending time as a family, whether it's relaxing at home or traveling to someplace new. We enjoy being outside no matter what! We live close to Lake Erie, so we love spending time at the beach, even in the cooler weather.
We see our extended family members and friends! We take two vacations per year to the Outer Banks and Florida! One of our favorite hobbies is to just snuggle up on the couch as a family and watch a movie and pop some popcorn or order in a pizza! Our family also loves to be outdoors no matter what season it is!
Grandpa Bob (Jordon’s grandpa) was adopted. Before he passed away, he had expressed to us that he is grateful he was placed in a good home and empathizes with his birth mom for making that decision for him.
We can’t begin to imagine the emotions you are experiencing going through this journey. It is so incredibly brave and courageous to consider adoption and shows us how selfless of a mother you truly are. Know that no matter what others may say, you are making the decision you feel is best for you and the child, whatever that decision may be. We plan to talk about adoption openly; it is not secret and is a beautiful gift and like you. When the child asks, we will be open and honest with an age-appropriate answer. We will always discuss how the child grew in their mommy’s tummy and now lives with us because his/her parent(s) loved them so much and wanted the best life possible for them. We will be honest about the biological parents but never portray them in a negative light because the decision they made was incredibly selfless.
We pray that we will be able to get to know one another and establish a respectful, trusting relationship with you. We want to know you so we can tell our child about you. Whether that be through meetups, communications, etc. and whatever boundaries we establish together, all of us. We are nervous, as I’m sure you are. Nervous that you will safe enough with us to make the decision to place your child in our care and to be loved forever, with that nervousness comes the excitement of forming a beautiful relationship with one another.
