What If We Already Have a Home Study?
Spirit of Faith Adoptions’ services is based on a comprehensive Step by Step adoption process. We limit the number of hopeful adoptive families we accept for three (3) reasons:
- It is heart-breaking if families wait a long time.
- Our staff wants to get to your family and the others so that we can provide the most attentive support.
- Biological parent(s) review photo profiles and select the adoptive parents for his/her child.
To Get Started:
- Please complete Step 1: Submit an Initial Inquiry
- attend one (1) Introduction to Spirit of Faith Adoptions Zoom seminar (free).
- Then approved families can take one of the next 2 steps.
The Next Step: Choose to 1. Share Your Home Study or 2. Transfer Your Home Study
Both options enable skipping some of the initial steps (#2 & 3), and there won't be any difference in the level of service you receive no matter which option you choose:
1. Share Your Home Study
A Shared Home Study enables families to continue working with your current agency, and they will update your home study as needed. Approved families will be invited to start at Step 4 and submit the corresponding fee of $5000.
2. Transfer Your Home Study
If you would like Spirit of Faith Adoptions to become your primary agency and provide all adoption services for your family, you can request to transfer your home study to us. The transfer fee is $1250. We’ll take care of everything for you including matching services and updating your home study. Some paperwork will need to be submitted (ie: new BCI/FBI, references and safety audit).
Families will then be invited to start Step 4 and submit the corresponding fee of $5000 to activate into the Infant Matching Program.
Introduction to Spirit of Faith Adoptions - Infant Adoption
Attendance at one Introduction to Spirit of Faith Adoptions - Infant Adoption Zoom Seminar is required for all families joining our program. This is where you will hear a birth mom and an adoptive family talk about their adoption experiences and there will be time at the end for Q&A. Pre-registration is required. This is a free event.
