Program Description: This two part (1.5 hour x 2) seminar, taught by Emily Gallagher LISW-S provides adoption & cradle care professionals with a review of social work and counseling considerations of ethics, confidentiality, competence, informed consent, conflict of interest, and professionalism within the context of a review of literature regarding current best practice of openness in cradle care and adoption. 

Training/Learning Objectives of the Program:

1. Review agency's Code of Ethics.
2. Review social work, counseling and MFT's code of Ethics.
3. Engage in presentation & discussion regarding the current research on the practice of openness in adoption & cradle care.
