These 2 courses are combined into a (1) day in-person training at the SOFA office in Sylvania, Ohio and provides (6) hours of Foster Care and Cradle Care training for foster and adoptive parents. Your trainer is Adrian Baney, LPCC-S who is clinical counselor who is an adoptive parent with an open adoption, and she is an adoption assessor for SOFA. This training meets the requirements for Pre-Service training #1 & 3 in Ohio. Licensed Ohio foster parents receive a stipend for completing this training. Current SOFA families also welcome to register and attend.
